**MS – INT. BEX’S HOME** Bex slams the radio down and resumes packing even more furiously (visualizing his sudden change of heart).

**TRACKING SHOT – EXT. TRAIL TO FIELD – DAY** Tracking shot from behind Bex as he hikes briskly through woods/terrain, heavy gear on his back, heading toward the golden field.

**EXTREME WS – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD – DAY** Wide establishing shot: Bex arrives at the exact spot where Avio previously took off. He drops his gear and builds a new pile in the same location.

**MS – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Bex sits down beside the gear pile, radio in hand, staring hopefully at the sky.

**CU / INSERT – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Close-up on the radio in Bex’s grip as he repeatedly keys the mic, trying to reach Avio with no response.

**TIME-LAPSE WS – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Fast time-lapse of the sky and field; sun arcs across the sky, shadows lengthen – hours passing while Bex waits.

**MS – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Bored, Bex reaches for his guitar case, pulls out the guitar, and glances around shyly to see if anyone is watching.

**POV SHOT – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Bex’s point-of-view scanning the empty field; only a few squirrels are visible, focused on scattered acorns.

**CU – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Close-up on the squirrels nibbling acorns, completely unaware.

**DRAMATIC WS / RAPID CUTS – EXT. GOLDEN FIELD** Sudden chaos: a herd of panicked animals smashes through Bex’s gear pile. Reveal the massive black shadowy cloud devouring everything in its path. Bex jumps up in panic and sprints — but freezes mid-stride as the ground turns to dry, brittle crust around him. Quick intercut: aerial shot of Avio flying overhead desperately trying the radio. Final static shot: Bex’s lifeless frozen body on the ground, radio lying beside him as the black field encroaches. Fade to black.
